We've tried to keep them simple and understandable.

Using Dainty

TheDaintyFur is a creative service for making short, AI-generated videos featuring furry animals.

You can describe a moment you'd like to create or upload a photo and use Dainty to turn your idea into a short video.

You must be legally able to use any photos, prompts or other material you submit.

Clips and payments

Dainty clips are purchased in packs. Each clip can be used to create one AI-generated video.

Purchased clips remain in your account until you use them and do not expire unless we clearly tell you otherwise before purchase.

All prices are displayed before you buy.

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. TheDaintyFur does not store your full credit or debit card details. Your payment information is handled by Stripe in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices.

Prices and clip packs may change from time to time. Changes won't affect clips you've already purchased.

When a generation doesn't work

AI doesn't always get things right.

If a generation fails because of a technical problem, we'll automatically try again where possible.

If we're unable to successfully create your video after our retry process, the clip used for that generation will be returned to your account.

Because computing costs are incurred when a video is successfully generated, we don't normally provide refunds simply because you don't like the creative result, the animal doesn't look exactly as expected, or the AI interpreted your prompt differently from what you imagined.

This does not affect any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law.

If something has genuinely gone wrong, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Your photos and prompts

You keep ownership of the photos, prompts and other content you submit to Dainty.

By submitting content, you give us permission to process it for the purpose of creating your video, operating the Dainty service and storing your creations in your account.

Please only upload photos and other material that you own or have permission to use.

Don't upload material that infringes another person's copyright, privacy or other rights.

Your Dainty creations

The videos you create with Dainty are yours to download, keep and share, subject to these terms and any rights that may exist in the material you provided.

You're welcome to share your Dainty creations on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, other social platforms, or simply with friends and family.

You are responsible for how you use and share the videos you create.

Keep it furry

Dainty was made for cute, fun and imaginative content featuring furry animals.

Please don't use Dainty to create or attempt to create content that is harmful, abusive, illegal, deliberately offensive, sexually explicit, exploitative, deceptive, or infringes somebody else's rights.

Please don't use the service to harass someone, impersonate someone deceptively, distribute malware, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass our security or safety systems.

We may refuse a generation or restrict or close an account if Dainty is being seriously or repeatedly misused.

A little thing about AI

Dainty uses artificial intelligence to create videos, and every generation can be different.

We can't promise that a generated animal will look exactly like an uploaded photo, follow every detail of a prompt perfectly, or create exactly what you pictured in your head.

AI can occasionally produce unusual, unexpected or imperfect results.

That's simply part of creating with generative AI.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your Dainty account and login details secure.

Your saved creations and unused clips are associated with your account.

Please let us know if you believe someone else has gained unauthorized access to your account.

If you choose to delete your account, please download anything you'd like to keep first. Account deletion may result in your saved creations and other account information being permanently removed.

My Clips

Dainty may allow you to save generated videos to My Clips so you can come back to them later.

While we aim to keep your saved creations available, My Clips should not be treated as permanent backup storage.

If a creation is especially important to you, we recommend downloading your own copy.

Service availability

We'll do our best to keep Dainty happily creating, but we can't promise that the service will always be available without interruption.

From time to time we may need to perform maintenance, fix problems, update features, change an AI provider or make other changes to how Dainty works.

AI generation also relies on third-party technology and services that may occasionally be unavailable or experience delays.

Changes to Dainty

Dainty will continue to evolve.

We may add, change or remove features, adjust clip packs or pricing, or change the technology used to create videos.

We won't remove clips you've already purchased simply because our pricing or clip packs change.

Intellectual property

The TheDaintyFur name, website, design, branding, software and other material created by us remain the property of IQLABS LTD or our licensors.

Your own photos and prompts remain yours.

Please don't copy, reproduce, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the Dainty website, software or branding without our permission.

Our responsibility

We'll take reasonable care in providing Dainty, but it is a creative AI service and some things are outside our control.

To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, IQLABS LTD isn't responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Dainty or your inability to use the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under New Zealand law.

Closing an account

You can stop using Dainty whenever you like.

We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe there has been serious misuse, fraud, unlawful activity, interference with the service, or repeated breaches of these terms.

Where practical, we'll try to resolve ordinary problems before taking that step.

Changes to these terms

As Dainty grows, we may occasionally update these terms.

The latest version will always be available on this page with the date it was last updated.

If we make an important change that materially affects existing customers, we'll make reasonable efforts to let you know.

New Zealand law

TheDaintyFur is operated from New Zealand by IQLABS LTD.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit rights you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
